Convert campaign to SMS

Do you know that it is now possible to convert a newsletter into an SMS automatically in Mailrelay? Below, we explain how to do it.

The first thing, of course, is to have a newsletter already created (you can see how to do it in this tutorial). In this case we go to the Newsletters menu -> Newsletters -> We look for the newsletter that we want to convert and click on the blue icon:

There will be a button at the top right to "convert newsletter to SMS"

A new screen will appear that will allow us to select the campaign we want to convert and the message size.

Depending on the size we choose, we will spend between 1 and 5 credits per SMS.

Remember that SMS credits depend on the encoding and the number of characters, you can see the explanation in our SMS tutorial.

Once selected we will click on the blue Import button:

It will automatically take us to the SMS campaign editing screen where we can see how our SMS turned out, add both the sender name and the internal name, See the size of our SMS, change the content or add variables.

Once everything is ready, click on the blue button “Update SMS Campaign” and it will save the campaign so we can send it whenever we want, by clicking on the Send button.

We will be able to see the campaign in the SMS menu -> SMS Campaigns:
