Package usage

Package usage

ÍNDICE

In the package usage, you have access to everything related to your account balance, as well as used and available credits.

The data is displayed differently if the account has a monthly plan (regardless of whether it's paid or free) or if the account has a prepaid package.

Accounts with monthly paid and free plans

Users with paid monthly plan accounts or free accounts will see two bars:

  • Package usage: where you can see the number of credits used from the activated monthly package.
  • Subscribers usage: this bar shows the number of different subscribers you have used in the current monthly period.

And just below it is the day on which the package will be renewed, i.e. when the limits will be reset.

This information is indicated as follows: Package usage will be renewed on and then the day/time of renewal.

IMPORTANT: Credits for free and paid monthly plans are renewed every month, starting from the day the account was created (in the case of free plans) or the day the account was purchased (paid monthly plans).

For example: if your account was created on February 17th, the monthly renewal date for the free package will be the 17th of each month, not the 1st of each month.

But if, for example, you buy a paid monthly plan on April 8th, the monthly renewal date for your package will be the 8th of each month.

Free monthly plan

If the account uses a free plan, just below the renewal date you will have a total of three buttons:

  • Purchase a new package: it takes you to the area where you can buy a paid package (monthly or prepaid).
  • View detailed package usage): it takes you to a new window where you can see in detail the credit you have used during the current monthly period. Likewise, at the top, it offers a search engine to consult usage between two specific dates.
  • Export file with subscriber usage: you will receive a .csv document by e-mail with a list of all the subscribers used in the current monthly period.

If you need the document urgently, a link to it will also be generated in Other>>Exported files, from where it will be available for download for a period of 7 days.

Monthly paid plan

If your account already has a paid plan, in addition to the options described above (Purchase a new package, View detailed package usage and Export file with subscriber usage), you will also see the option to Advance package renewal date.

  •  Purchase a new package: it takes you to the area where you can buy a paid package (monthly or prepaid).
  •  View detailed package usage: it takes you to a new window where you can see in detail the credit you have used during the current monthly period. Likewise, at the top, it offers a search engine to consult usage between two specific dates.
  •  Export file with subscriber usage: you will receive a .csv document by e-mail with a list of all the subscribers used in the current monthly period.
  • If you need the document urgently, a link to it will also be generated in Other>>Exported files, from where it will be available for download for a period of 7 days.
  •  Advance the package's renewal date: This option will change the package's renewal date
It should only be used if you have used up one of the available limits and need to send more emails, but can't wait until your plan's renewal date. This will take you to a new window in which you have to click on Advance to restart the monthly package limits, which will generate a new invoice for the new package.

Accounts with prepaid packages

In this case, you will see a single bar:

  •  Package usage: where you can see the number of credits you have used out of the total number of prepaid packages you have purchased over time.

And below this tab, you'll see four buttons:

  • Purchase a new package: it takes you to the area where you can buy a paid package (monthly or prepaid).
  • View detailed package usage: it takes you to a new window where you can see in detail the credit you have used during the current monthly period. Likewise, at the top, it offers a search engine to consult usage between two specific dates.
  • Move credits: you can move credits from the current account to any other Mailrelay account (as long as the other account also uses prepaid packages). When you click on it, you will see a new window in which you must indicate the account to which you want to transfer credits ( Destination account ), the balance to be moved ( Number of credits ) and finally click on Move credits .
  • Cancel package: it allows you to cancel the prepaid package in advance to return to the free account. Clicking on this button opens a new window in which you must indicate the reason for the cancellation ( Cancellation reason ) and then click Cancel to cancel the current prepaid package.

IMPORTANT: Prepaid packages expire one year after the date on which the prepaid package was purchased. During this period, new prepaid packages will be accumulated and added to the total credits previously purchased.

For example: an account purchases a prepaid package with 50,000 credits. On the Package usage screen, you would see a limit of 50,000 credits. Before you finish, you buy another prepaid package with 25,000 and, in the Package Statistics, you would see a limit of 75,000 credits, and so on.
