Blacklist imports

Sometimes it is necessary to make sure that, under no circumstances, a series of emails will receive our messages. To do this, you have to ban these emails and import them so that they are blocked.

It is possible to blacklist both emails that are subscribers and email addresses that are not registered as subscribers. To do this, you just need to create a .txt or .csv file, which should only contain one email per line.

A simple example of a correctly formatted .txt file could be:

[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

The search engine at the top allows you to apply some simple filters, in which you can use two search conditions: ID equals and File name contains. Next to them are the Search button, as well as the Clear button, to clear the entered data.

Below them is the + New blacklist import button, which, when clicked, starts the import process, taking us to a window where we have to click on Select file to open a file explorer in which we can choose the .TXT or .CSV file with the contacts we want to block and blacklist.

Once you've selected the file, just click on the Import button.

Likewise, the system will offer an important setting, which is the option to Create blacklisted subscribers, even if they haven't been imported before.

By default, this option is unchecked and doesn't import emails that are not present in the account's contact lists.

Check this option to blacklist even contacts who have never been added to the account.

Before starting the process, a pop-up window will be displayed with the warning: Are you sure you want to import this file? All subscribers in the file will be banned and you must click Yes to proceed with the blacklist import.

The results area shows a history of the files you have imported and uses four columns of information: ID, File name, Status (whether the import has been completed or is in progress),

Finished on and Created on. Next to each import, there is a button which, when clicked, shows a brief summary of the banned contacts (it will display exactly the same data available in the results column).
